New Cottingley office now open as we look to expand and build a platform for further growth
Harrison & Clough, which recently celebrated 125 years in business, is moving from its historic premises in Keighley to new office space in nearby Cottingley.  The move will help facilitate the company’s continued growth and expansion from its Yorkshire base.
Â
The company, which is a leading provider of high quality fasteners and fixings, has made significant improvements to the building  at Cottingley Business Park as it prepares for the arrival of the 36 staff members who will now be based there.
Â
The new premises will house Harrison & Clough’s management, finance, admin, sales, purchasing and product development teams, and the building has been designed in an open plan layout to encourage co-working and harness a sense of team and community.
Â
The building boasts hot desk spaces, several meeting rooms and two on-site kitchens, as well as the provision of free staff parking. The team are pleased by the prospect of moving home at an exciting time for the business.
Â
Commenting on the move, Mark Dorrington, Business Development Director at Harrison & Clough, explained, “We’re delighted with our new office space and the team can’t wait to get settled in. We looked at a number of properties and wanted to stay as near to Keighley as possible, where the company has so much history. The new space is perfect for us and this investment demonstrates our ambitious plans for the business as we look to continue to grow and build on our Yorkshire heritage.”
Â
Harrison & Clough will still use its Keighley base for warehousing for the remainder of this year, before relocating that part of its business to a state-of-the-art facility in Bessemer Park, Sheffield.  The Sheffield site, supported by the Cottingley team, will employ the latest technologies to provide highly efficient warehousing capabilities.
Â
As part of the move, Harrison & Clough has been donating items of furniture from its Keighley base to a number of local charities and schools in the area in a drive to support the local community, and ensure the office move is completed as sustainably as possible.
